Hospitality seating: our recipe for socially-distanced success

As life begins to return to something resembling normality, here at YF we are all enjoying the restaurants being open again!

Whether it’s a cheeky mid-week dinner, or an ultimate weekend lazy brunch, we are excited that our horizons have widened once again.  While the complete easing of restrictions may have been delayed, it is a relief for the hospitality industry to open their doors to the public once again.

With social distancing and mask-wearing still the norm – for now at least – and a possibility that people may prefer to keep their distance from others for some time to come, we have put together our ideas for how restaurateurs and hoteliers can utilise their space to their best advantage – and how YF Furniture can help with this.

Fixed booth seating is becoming more and more popular in restaurants, enabling family and friendship groups to feel safely cocooned in their own corner.  In fact, we have even been asked a number of times lately if we can manufacture fixed seating booths for the home as well.  To this end, we have been busy doing some development work on a new product to satisfy this demand – the picture above shows this work in progress.  To request more info on this product once it is finalised and costed, please contact us here.

Mix it up
